Lex Basile Price was born and raised in Irvine, CA.

Their mother is London-born and raised in Iran; their father is from California.

Lex’s parents allowed them to start performing at an early age. They were soon cast in local productions of The Sound of Music and Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, among others.

After high-school they graduated to more challenging fare. Working with Rude Guerrilla Theater Company, and later Monkey Wrench Collective and Green Card Theatre, they would frequently act in US and West Coast Premieres of exciting international work.

Lex quickly became known as a go-to actor for complicated, muscular roles. They’ve played bullies, charmers, drag queens, outcasts, artists, and innocents.

Lex is equally comfortable in both plays and musicals.

They currently reside in Manhattan but frequently travel to Los Angeles.
